Place an Order
To begin, select one or more files within your Document workspace, and then click “Place an Order.”
Next, you will be prompted to select an Analyzer Profile that is appropriate for the level of anonymization that you would like to use. This selection is a crucial step, as it determines the types of data that will be redacted from your document during processing. Make sure to review the learning guides on de-identification standards if you need guidance on what level of anonymization is best for your data.
Once you have determined the Analyzer Profile that you will use, click “Next.”
In the following window, you will review the details of your order to make sure your files and configuration (i.e., Analyzer Profile selection) are correct. Click “Next” to move to payment.
De-ID will calculate the cost of de-identifying the selected documents based on word count and present you the cost.
Click the "Card" panel to enter your card payment information. You have the option to save the payment details for future purchases by clicking the check box. Once you have entered your payment information, click “Pay” to finish placing the order.
De-ID will begin the de-identification process once payment is submitted. Once de-identification is complete, you will see the green “Review” button next to your files in the Documents workspace.
Select “Review” to view the de-identified file. As you review the suggested occurrences of PII, you will be prompted to accept or reject the changes to the data. Your progress reviewing each file is tracked under the “State” column of the Documents workspace, which shows how many review decisions you have completed out of the total flagged occurrences of PII in that file.
Once you have completed reviewing the data, you can download each de-identified file to your computer by clicking “Download” within the document, or from the Document Manager.
